It seems Christmas is upon us, which means holiday and cocktail parties everywhere. I’ve been to one holiday party which turned out OK. I drank water during the evening and managed to get protein and some veggies. I did just fine and did not miss alcohol. That is a major win as far as I’m concerned.
I still need to work on food for weekends. On Saturday’s when I have errands, I need to figure food / protein to eat. I’m considering protein shakes again as they are easiest. Sadly, weekends have always been the most difficult days for me. I have no structure so things kind of get away and I don’t take my vitamins or eat adequate amounts of protein.
I did make another batch of chicken tortilla soup in the instant pot. I’m also contemplating making yoghurt in the instant pot. I have a recipe that seems to be amazing. I’ll try that over Christmas break. I made some chicken wings in the air fryer. I marinaded them in Nando’s sauce then 30 mins in the fryer. They came out pretty yummy, if I must say so.
