Part of weightless is dealing with stalls. I just had a 3 week stall, I kept losing and gaining the same 2 pounds. No matter what I did, it was not moving. As my body adjusts to this new normal, it will adjust, stall and then move on again.
Psychologically it is traumatizing, Wondering what I’m doing wrong, why am I not losing. How do I start losing again? It is so easy to get frustrated and devour a bag of chips (my go to comfort food). I have had chips and mostly they do just fine. Other times I dump (no diarrhea) for a few hours. That feeling is not a good one.
Honestly, 90 % of weightless is mental. It is so easy to slip into the bad habit of grabbing a chip or something bad. It has been almost 4 months and I have not had any candy other than sugar free.
I’m still trying out various food items. It is not easy figuring what my stomach will like and what it won’t. I have not had eggs since around week 3 post op. Seed bread does just fine with me now.
