One of the biggest reminders from this weekend is that every day is a new day. I often forget that I can move on from the previous day mistakes. when I was doing low carb (aka Keto) it was always said, if you mess up, make sure your next meal is on point. But far too often we figure we’ve messed up for one meal, what the hell lets just mess the whole day up.
This is something I know I have struggled with. With this new way of life, one of my biggest issues with weekends is no structure. I love structure and have never been one to deviate from my routine. Weekends mess with that. I don’t get up at 5:30, I don’t leave for work at 7am. Instead I flounder. I’m trying to find my new weekend structure.
This will include working out, meal prep and time for me to truly relax and recoup from crazy week days.
One thing I do on a weekend is prepare my vitamins for the coming week. My daily vitamin dose is:
- Multi Vitamin w/ Iron (3 capsules in the morning)
- Calcium Citrate (3 chewable, These are eaten at 10am, noon and 3pm)
- Biotin (1 gel pill taken in the morning)
- Vitamin A (1 gel pill taken in the morning)
