Journey through weightless surgery and beyond

On Friday I climbed onto the scale and I’m officially down 50lbs.  Wow, How is that possible.  I am officially the weight I had told the Louisiana DMV about 20 yrs ago.   Yes,  20 years.  I keep thinking, how is that freaking possible?   That is the realization for this week. This week’s victory…

Victories and realizations

On Friday I climbed onto the scale and I’m officially down 50lbs.  Wow, How is that possible.  I am officially the weight I had told the Louisiana DMV about 20 yrs ago.   Yes,  20 years.  I keep thinking, how is that freaking possible?   That is the realization for this week.

This week’s victory is going to  a concert and being able to sit in the seat without  feeling like a sardine in a can.  or the first time in a very very long time, I wasn’t squashed into  my chair and I didn’t feel like I was spilling into the chairs next to and in front of me.

December 2018 I attended a concert  in the same venue,  I wore the same shoes and the following days, I hurt.  My body ached from walking, standing etc.  Major victory, I had no pain,  We even walked further  and stood around waiting for our ride.

I’ve changed a few things in many diet.  Focusing on Protein first.  Limiting carbs, drinking at least 60 oz of water each day.  Plain water tastes awful so I”m drinking vitamin water,  lemon water and tea.

Next post will have a few photographs with dates.
