October 1 will be 1 year since surgery. I feel as though I haven’t lost as much weight as I have wanted to. But on the other hand, I’m happy to have lost what I have.

Last week I did 1 year labs and got the results today. I was ugly surprised. My lipid panel came back fabulous, but the biggest surprise is my A1C. A year ago it was 6.5 (pre diabetic). today it is 5.0. normal. I’m totally gobsmacked by this. I was on the border of being on metformin but now I’m awake from that.

I am so freaking excited about that.
