Life is all about goals. Each day we wake up and we have a goal. Some start a new year off with goals, some make them up daily.
For me, weight loss has always been a goal. My weight has fluctuated quite bit over the last 20 years. When I weighted 110lbs at 18 yrs old, I was told I was fat. I have always wanted to be 110lbs again, but that was a girls body. Now that I am 50, I will be quite satisfied with 140lbs. well I would be very happy with 130lbs.
Today I looked back at my app where I logged my weight and I’m proud of myself and how far I’ve come along the way. I started the journey at 312lbs and a year later I’m at 238.8lbs.
I have had a few instances of where I have gained some weight. Especially when I switched to a WFPB (whole food plant based) diet. The past few weeks I have started losing that gained weight again. Now onward and downward for the remaining 100lbs.
I feel proud about how far I have come. One day at a time, One pound at a time.
