Journey through weightless surgery and beyond

This will be short and sweet.

Female,  50 yrs old.  I have been over weight for most of the past 30 years.  I did get down to 180 lbs in 1998, but moving to Louisiana and eating  a different diet had weight piling on again.

I’ve tried being a vegan, precetarian, vegatarian but weight kept piling on.  In 2014, I tried Atkins and lost 70lbs quickly.  I ended up with surgery and gained about 30 lbs back.   In 2018, my heart right started spiking,  my BP was 200/100 and I was at stroke levels.  My PCP told me I had to lose weight.  If I did not, I would have a stroke.  I again started low fat / hight protein.  She finally recommended I lose weight.   Well recommended is soft for what she said.  She told me if I didn’t lose weight I would have a stroke or heart attack.

And that in a nutshell is how this journey began.
